I was half joking when I asked Emily and her bridesmaids to sing something for me in harmony – on the spot. I knew that singing was a huge deal for Emily’s family (and for Jonroy, but more on that later). Still, these girls busted into four part harmony right there in the drizzling rain. Yeah, I mentioned the “r” word. Rain changed some of the day-of plans for Emily and Jonroy, but it didn’t steal the joy or the singing from them. Even with the rain, we still had time to grab some photos around the beautiful Stepping Stone Farm in Havre De Grace, Maryland before the ceremony started. During the ceremony, there were some amazing a cappella songs sung by family and friends.Emily and Jonroy had some very unique vows they wrote for each another. Not to be outdone by Emily and her ladies, Jonroy dazzled Emily with a surprise a cappella performance of his own during the reception. Emily’s sister-in-law (also one of her bridesmaids) made a cake entirely out of Oreos, and a milk fountain to go with it. Emily and Jonroy, thanks for having me part of your day. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite moments from Emily and Jonroy’s day:
