It rained so hard the day before that Kayla and Josh started looking for a back-up indoor venue. Thankfully, their wedding day arrived with sunshine and a little breeze. Josh and most of his family and friends hail from Indiana, so they played some hoops in their wedding attire before the ceremony, which was a first for me, and had me reminiscing about my recent past as a sports photographer for a now defunct newspaper. Kayla and Josh had both their dads co-officiate the wedding, which made their ceremony that much more personal and connected. Their reception, which took place in a shaded tent right next to their ceremony, was filled with so much good food and dancing.
