A few weeks ago, I headed down to the lovely Moonstone Manor to photograph Helena and Evan’s wedding. (You may remember them from their down-town Lancaster engagement session just a few weeks prior.) They decided to see each other before the wedding while one of their favorite worship songs played in the background, and as Evan turned around to see Helena in her wedding dress, he just about fell over in awe! Their ceremony had a live band leading a time of worship, and a time of communion all overlooking the Conewago Creek. After the ceremony, they even made time for a little game of Wiffle Ball. At their reception, there was a lot of people up and dancing, even with the high heat and humidity. Plus, they had Whoopie Pies (a Pennsylvania Dutch thing, if you’ve never heard of these tasty confections), AND a chocolate fountain.
