I enjoyed doing this wedding for Diana and Nate for several reasons. One: they decided to buy a house on the same road I live on, making us practically neighbors. Two: Diana said she loved the rain, and she wasn’t kidding. Most of the post-ceremony photos were done while it was raining, at her request. Three: they included a very relevant Dr. Suess quote in their wedding:
We are all a little weird and life is a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.
Also, utilizing a football for the garter toss was a very creative and amazing choice. Diana and Nate, thanks for being your goofy selves! Special thanks also to Shanna for photographing alongside me for the day. Now, let us descend into mutual weirdness:
