I finished a great 2013 wedding season by spending the day with Lindsay and Tim and their amazing families and friends at the oldest building in Dauphin county – the Peter Allen House. Lindsay and Tim had originally scheduled their wedding for May 2014 when they heard some pretty devastating news: Lindsay’s dad was very sick and his time on earth might be short. Upon hearing the news, Lindsay and Tim moved their wedding day forward and pulled it off with less then a month to get ready. I should also point out that Tim’s parents live internationally and were able to cancel and rebook their travel plans to make it for their son’s wedding.
It was a privilege to be a part of this very emotionally charged day. There were lots of tears and hand-holding and hugs, and there was plenty of laughter and smiles, too. So many friends and family came out to support the family and it was literally standing-room-only for most of the guests, with a few exceptions for family. Special thanks to Bri for traveling from Maine to shoot this wedding with me.
